According to the Federal Constitution in its article 133, “the lawyer is indispensable to the administration of justice”, being the only profession included as one of its pillars. Advocate comes from Latinlawyer, that is, the one who is called to help.

Advocating also means interceding on behalf of someone, protecting their interests and rights guaranteed by legislation. Therefore, the lawyer fulfills an essential role in justice, serving as a link between the unprotected party and the law that surrounds it.
